Why Become a Volunteer Firefighter?

There are many good reasons for becoming a Volunteer Firefighter. Being a firefighter is a
challenging, satisfying and rewarding experience. Friendship and camaraderie are a big part of
being a firefighter and are reflected in the department’s social functions.

What About Training?

Each fireman must endure rigorous training that is mandated by the Province of Quebec for a total of 175 hours of training in order to be a volunteer firefighter.
